Wanda F. Blanton, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her Greenwood residence. The daughter of Leonard O. and Nola S. Reed Hensley, Wanda was born July 2, 1942 in Lily, Kentucky.

Wanda was a member of Northern Park Baptist Church in Greenwood. She loved to sew, knit and crochet.

Wanda is survived by her husband, John H. Blanton of Greenwood, whom she married on August 27, 1959; son, Michael J. Blanton of Lebanon; daughter, Shari (Patrick) Endris of Greenwood; brother, Sonny Hensley of Lily, Kentucky; sisters, Lynnie Riggleman of Corbin, Kentucky, Carolyn Pennington of Lily, Kentucky, Jacquie Riggleman of Broadway, Virginia and Marjorie Jones of Lebanon; three grandchildren, John Michael Blanton of Joplin, Missouri, Mystari and Sydney Endris, both of Greenwood; two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Pastor Allen Pierce will conduct funeral services 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014 in the funeral home. Committal services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
