Wanda S. Rector, 69, of Greenwood passed away February 12, 2017. She was born June 15, 1947 in Louellen, KY to Leamon and Beatrice (Houston) Mefford.

Wanda loved her grandkids. She was a free spirit who enjoyed crocheting, music, walks, nature, camping and her garden.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sylvester (Barbara) Mefford and John D. Mefford; sisters, Joyce Faye Mefford and Barbara Jean Mefford; and grandchild, Crystal Michelle Caudill.

Wanda is survived by her sons, Rick Caudill, Grant Caudill and John (Tammy) Young; daughter, Sabrina (Kevin) Bowersock; brothers, Kenny (Judith), Roger (Rosie), Ronnie (Kathy) and Billy Ray (Joann) Mefford; sisters, Betty Lou (Robert) Burgett and Mildred Campbell; grandchildren, Melanie VanCleave, Braxton Bowersock, Kelisha Bowersock, Zachary (Malory) Bowersock, Chellsie Bowersock, Ricky (Samantha) Caudill, Gary Caudill, Chris Caudill, Heather Caudill, Tyler Young, Christa Young, and Brandon Saylor; great grandchildren, Mya, Anna, Macy, Crystal, Joseph, Aaliyah, Danika, Drayven, Izaiah, Zoe, Isaiah and Leeah and canine companion, Mellie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17 at 10:00 a m, also in the funeral home.
