Wanda Louise Moore, 85, of Whiteland passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She was born to the late Norman and Verba (Banks) Gibbons in Karbers Ridge, IL on March 10, 1936.

She married Donald R. Moore, Sr. on December 4, 1952 in Harrisburg, IL. Their marriage produced two children, Donald R. Moore, Jr. and Cathy L. Moore. In the 1950s Wanda was a member of Englewood Christian Church where she often sang, taught Sunday School and was very active in the Mary Mates class, a remarkable group of couples whose close and supportive friendships continue to this day. She was later equally active at both Cumberland Christian Church and then University Heights Christian Church. In recent years, she was a member of Greenwood Christian Church where she participated in their Bible Study, the Friend-to-Friend program and the Seniors Ministry activities. She worked for many years at Manpower as a testing and placement associate as well as a trainer.

Wanda and Don Sr. travelled extensively with their church friends and volunteered for many years at the Johnson Bible College Senior Saints week in Knoxville, TN. Most of all she loved to spend time with her large and loving family. Her great kindness and strength of character will be greatly missed by her adoring family and many friends.

Wanda is survived by her children- Donald (Lynn) Moore, Jr. and Cathy Hall; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a brother, Andy Gibbons. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Donald R. Moore, Sr., both parents; two sisters- Norma Martin and Thelma Cummins, and a grandson, Benjamin Moore.
