Wanda Mae Perkins, 82, of Indianapolis passed away February 27, 2014 at Community Hospital East.

Born September 8, 1931 in Newcastle, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Alva and Lola (Hare) Lewellen.

She was a graduate of Southport High School and earned an Associates degree from the University of Indianapolis.

She married James Perkins in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Wanda and her husband were co-owners of Creative Entertainment. She was a life member of Southport Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son David (Lona) Perkins and a granddaughter, Annastasia Perkins.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a son Roy Perkins.
