Wanda C. Thompson, 90 of Greenwood, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. She was born to the late Clyde and Maudell (Nash) Eldridge on November 23, 1935.

Wanda had a keen sense of fashion and supported the arts generously.  Her favorite activity was attending art and craft fairs. She loved beachcombing and visiting Sanibel, Florida. She also enjoyed her menagerie of birds, especially her cockatoos Lola and Bogey.

Wanda is survived by her sons Glenn (Carol) Barb and Terry Anderson, three grandchildren, and sister Judy Spivey. She is preceded in death by both parents, daughter-in-law Dotty Anderson, and two brothers Curtis "Sonny" Eldridge and Danny Spivey.
