Wayne J. Little, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his Indianapolis residence. The son of Leonard and Myrtle I. (Plunket) Little, Wayne was born June 15, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He retired in 1982, after 31 years of service, as a quality engineer with Allison General Motors. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, he was a member of the Franklin Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L. (Mundy) Little of Indianapolis; sons, Kevin W. (Sherry) Little of North Vernon, Indiana and Robert A. Little of Indianapolis; daughters, Pamela S. (Jon) Ludwick of Indianapolis and Kathy L. (Peter) Ray of Grass Valley, California; brother, J. Dwight (Donna) Little of Coral Gables, Florida; sister, Barbara J. Jacobs of Avon, Indiana; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Chaplain Will Braniff will officiate at funeral services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
