Wilbur (Bill) Kenneth Rembold, 92, of Eustis, FL passed away Wednesday, April 16th, in Florida. He was born April 24, 1932, in Evansville, IN to the late J. Frank and Bertha K. (Weikel) Rembold.

After graduating from Mater Dei High School in Evansville, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably from 1951 to 1955. He served in Korea during the Korean war and concluded his service in Fort Myer, VA. After his military service he became an electrician and moved to Indianapolis, IN where he was employed by Western Union then retired from General Motors in 1995.

Bill and his wife, Carol, spent many years as "snowbirds" in Eustis, Florida until he moved to Florida permanently in 2017.

Bill had been a member of Nativity Parish in Evansville, IN and St. Mary of the Lakes Parish in Eustis, FL and was a longstanding member of the Knights of Columbus.

Bill loved to play golf and was very proud of scoring a hole-in-one. He also enjoyed playing pairs-golf with his wife for many years.

Bill loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed walking.

He is survived by his daughter; Laurel VanDoornik (Alan); sons, Thomas Rembold (Kathy) and Eric Rembold (Monique); grandchildren, Lindsey Holloway (Christopher), Westley Rembold, Ashley Fenwick (Glenn), Shawna Rembold, Savannah Navin (Luke), Shane Rembold; great grandson Judah Holloway; and brother in-law Ronald Hilgedieck (Linda).

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Billy and wife Carol (Hilgedieck) Rembold in 2014.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
