Willa Dean McCombs, age 84, of Greenwood, passed away February 9, 2015. She was born August 3, 1930 in Amos, KY to Jimmy Dee and Essie May (Swindle) Farley. She graduated from Scottsville High School in Scottsville, KY with the Class of 1948. Willa Dean was a Quality Control technician at Eli Lilly for 37 years. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and she was an avid golfer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by those who know and love her.

Willa Dean is survived by her son, Stephen (Cheryl) White; daughters, Rebecca (James) Owens, and Vicki (Jack) Heron; brother, Larry (Jean) Farley; sisters, Shirley (Bob) Humble, and Jolinda (Donnie) Kirby; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Thurman White and James McCombs and sister, Rebecca Farley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
