Willard H. "Duke" Fouts, Jr., age 66 of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday April 21 in Indianapolis. He was born May 6, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN to Willard H. Fouts, Sr. and Harriett Elliott Fouts. Duke served in various management roles for 39 years in the transportation industry. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Libbie L. Mink on January 31, 1989 and she survives as well as one son, Clay (Fawn) Fouts, of Portland, OR; three daughters, Lori (Jim) Webb,of Avon, IN, Amy (John) McKasson, of New Whiteland, IN, and Michelle Williams, of Greenwood; two brothers, Steve (Gloria), of Fairfield, CA, and Dave (Linda) Fouts, of Hawaii; eight grandchildren, Khalie, Brielle, and Mason Webb, Kylee Sweeney, Abbiegail Williams, Fallon and Faryn Smart, and grandson on the way, Lucius Fouts. Local funeral services will be Monday, April 26, at 10:30 AM at Smith Valley United Methodist Church, Greenwood, with visitation Sunday April 25 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, from 3:00PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Paris, IL with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Templeton Funeral Home, Paris, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Smith Valley United Methodist Church.
