William F. Derrett, 100, Went home December 11, 2008, at University Heights Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Derrett was born August 20, 1908, in Sulfur Wells, Ky. During his life he owned a number of business in the Indianapolis area. Mr. Derrett was a member of the Center United Methodist Church and a 32nd degree mason. He was married to Lena Margaret McClain and she preceeds. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis "Pat" (Ronald) Poe, Donna Jean (Archie) Bryant. A son-inlaw; Dave Bertram. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A daughter Alberta "Bert" Bertram, five brothers and two sisters all preceed. Family will receive friends at 5:00PM Monday December 15, 2008 with the funeral to follow at 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135 Greenwood, In. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
