William E. Keim, 84, of Marshall, Illinois, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away March 12, 2013 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. The son of Harley and Myrtle Lincoln Keim, William was born January 29, 1929 in Lincoln, Illinois.
William served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. A retired minister, he served at Sullivan Road Christian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tower Hill Christian Church in Tower Hill, Illinois, Marshall First Christian Church in Marshall, Illinois and retired from Windfall Christian Church in Windfall, Indiana in the mid 1980''s. He also owned and operated K and K Building Services and worked as a water tester for 15 years with Environmental Services Group. William was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church, Indianapolis and former lay minister with Indianapolis International Church of Christ, where he led many to Christ.
Survivors include his sons, David W. (Janet) Keim of Indianapolis, Martin E. (Karen) Keim of Marshall, Illinois and Stanley R. (Jane) Keim of Indianapolis; sister, Betty Isham of Texas; seven grandchildren; two great grandsons. Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean Ammons Keim; sisters, Dorothy Pickett and Ruby Stone.
Funeral services with military honors will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. March 16, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Private entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
