William L. (Bill) Richards, Jr., age 83, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was born May 22, 1927, in Nineveh, IN to William L. and Emma O. (Fleener) Richards. Bill worked at and retired from Yellow Freight Lines. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of Nineveh Christian Church. He was also a 65 year member of F&AM Nineveh #317 as well as a 63 year member of O.E.S. #466. Bill loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. He loved to talk about trucking, gardening, woodworking, and working on tractors. He also loved life and all it had to offer. Bill is survived by his sons, William L. III, Phillip, Danny (Pam), and Charles Richards; one daughter, Linda Pogue; one sister, Patsy Hughes; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, July 21 at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Garden of Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
