William E. Shipley Sr., 77 died April 17, 2012 at his residence in Silver Springs, Florida.
He was born October 18, 1934 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Alfred and Dorothy (Baxter) Shipley.
He was a Graduate of Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis. He was retired from Citizens Gas and Coke Company. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by two sons, William E. Shipley Jr. (wife Wendy) and Brian R. Shipley (wife Verona), a daughter Sherry D. Walsh, a sister Helena Warmack (husband Lloyd), eight grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Sheila Shipley and a brother Alfred Shipley.
Funeral Services will be Saturday April 21, 2012 at 10:00AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, Indiana. Friends may call Friday, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
