Willis C. Cherry, age 83, of Mooresville, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 with his family at his side. He was born November 17, 1929 in Moss, TN to Otis and Lettie (Allen) Cherry. Willis. He was a brick mason early in his life, and was a member of Teamsters Local #135 for over 30 years as a dockworker and truck driver. He was an avid hunter, and he loved riding horses.

He married Shirley Wallace and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter, Andrea Holt. Willis is survived by his sons, Jeff Cherry, of Indianapolis and Gary Wallace, of Bloomfield; daughters, Tonny (Troy) Camp, of Indianapolis, Angela Mock, of Mooresville, Becky Meyers and Cathy (Larry) Ardelean; grandchildren, Kyle, Bailey and Megan Cherry, Aimee Goodman, Dustin Holt, Christopher Mercer, Kayla and Rachael Mock, Jake, Wade and Cole Wallace, Doty Morgan, Ryan Meyers and Matthew Keen; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family requests contributions to the charity of the donor''s choice.
