Wilma McKee, 72 of New Whiteland, passed away on January 6, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 19, 1934, in Beech Grove to Ivan and Nettie Ester (Lamb) Shelton who precede her in death along with one brother. In May, 1956, she married Harry Earl McKee who passed away in 2001. She was a member of the New Whiteland Christian Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons: Dennis McKee of Spencer and David McKee of Sterling, VA; daughter Kay Snyder of Martinsville; one brother Wayne Shelton of New Whiteland; sister Marie Jamison of Indianapolis. Also 9 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Donations may be made to Americare Hospice, 1150 N. Main, Franklin, IN 46131-1265. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o''clock P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
