Wilson Douglas "Doug" Kemp, age 76, passed away April 11, in Indianapolis. He was born August 20, 1933 to Henry Otis and Myrtle Fannie (Wilson) Kemp in Red Boiling Springs, TN. He was a Navy veteran and worker for American Can Co. for 25+ years. He married Edris Runell Cherry, December 22, 1958 and she survives as well as his daughter Kim and her husband Ernest R. "Rob" Clair, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlin and Robbie Clair, 1 niece and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and 2 nephews. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Lafayette Heights Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 13 at 11:00AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Heart Assoc. or American Lung Assoc.
