Obituary

Wilson M. Young 97, passed away September 11, 2012 at Community Hospital South.
He was born February 24, 1915 in Peytonsburg, KY. To the late John and Evelyn (Spears) Young.
On June 26, 1938, he married Sally King in Kentucky. She preceded him in death in Nov. Of 1990.
He attended school in Kentucky. Wilson was a former member of the Second E.U.B. church in Indianapolis, and is a current member of the University Heights United Methodist Church.
He was also a member of The United Auto Workers Union in Indianapolis. Wilson was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
During WW II He worked for Stewart/Warner Defense Company.
He was also distinguished as a Kentucky Colonel. Wilson enjoyed gardening and riding his three wheeled bicycle around the South side.
Many referred to Wilson simply as "Grandpa".
He is survived by a son, Wilson (Judy) Young Jr. Two daughters, Betty Brown and Evelyn Lineback. Eight Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, wife, Five Brothers, Four sisters, and a Great Granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be Saturday September 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM In Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
Friends may call from 11:00 until time of service Saturday at the Funeral Home.
