Winston Boyd, 77, of Indianapolis passed away December 12, 2018. He was born December 20, 1940 in Marshall, NC to Berry H. and Grace (Riddle) Boyd.

Winston was a good man, loved his family and was loved by every person he met. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching his western movies. Winston spent his time bowling in his bowling league and singing at nursing homes, which he enjoyed immensely. Being a caring individual and an animal lover, Winston would feed all the outdoor animals that would come around his home; raccoons, squirrels, stray cats, etc. He met and married his loving wife, Mary and they were married for 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Berry H. and Grace (Riddle) Boyd; brothers, Tracy, Eddie and Carter Boyd and sister, Wilma Boyd.

Winston is survived by his loving wife, Mary Boyd; son, Ricky Boyd; daughters, Selina Terry and Teresa Belle; brother, Curley Boyd; grandchildren, Heather Dukate, Dustin Martin and Megan Nickle and great grandchildren, Bailey Dukate, Bobbie Jean Sherwood, Dustin Martin, Aubrey Dukate and Norah Williams.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 12:00 pm, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
