Obituary

Yuland Keith Baker, 84, of Greenwood, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord November 10, 2020.  He was born September 4, 1936 in Cambridge City, Indiana to the late Irvin and Vera (Worth) Baker.

Yuland was an athlete in his youth and a state champion wrestler.  He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1954 and went on to Purdue University.  On February 15, 1957, he married the love of his life, Madonna (Coop) Baker and they spent 63 wonderful years together.  At the age of 33, Yuland was called into ministry and spent the rest of his life as pastor for many.  He was also an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed building homes and working with his hands.  Above all, Yuland loved the Lord and his family.  He loved his 3 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply and will be greatly missed.  Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Yuland will be forever remembered by his dear wife, Madonna; children, Yvonne Berman, Becky McIntosh, and Greg (Jason) Baker; siblings, Everet Baker, Joyce Kantner, and Diane Thompson; grandchildren, Troy, Aaron, Dale, Jake and Brooke; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, November 14 from 9:30am - 10:30am at Southport Church of the Nazarene, 920 E Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227, with service to follow at 10:30am. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Baker family.
