Yvonne A. (Chaney) Lynch, 83, of Indianapolis was called home to Jesus August 15, 2021.  She was born April 1, 1938 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Simeon and Ida (Speaks) Chaney.

Yvonne was a long time member of Capital City Baptist Church.  She was a fierce Pacers fan and enjoyed reading anything she could get her hands on.  Yvonne was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly.  Her passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but there is the promise of seeing her again in heaven.

Yvonne will be forever remembered by her husband of 64 years, Charles "Buddy" Lynch; children, Gail Lynch, Bryan Lynch, and Sherry Dye; grandchildren, Courtney Lynch, and Caitlin Dye; great grandchildren, Lawson, Kennedy, Piper and Anthony; niece, Sheila Balloun; and nephew, Gary Wombles.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her siblings, Arlie Chaney and Thelma Wombles.

A private family service will be held Thursday, August 19 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, Indiana.
