Zelda Lee Slayton, 85 of Indianapolis, passed away at home under care hospice, on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

Zelda attended Ben Davis High School. She worked at Stewart Warner in Indianapolis and retired from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Willard Slayton; sons Ricks Polk, Russell Callahan, Daryl Callahan and step son Gary Slayton and nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. Zelda is preceded by her parents, Basil and Katherine Hamilton, brother Roll Hamilton, and son David Polk

Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Zelda will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
